How to build a webinar registration funnel with reminder emails

A registration page, a thank-you page and a short run of reminder emails, so more of the people who sign up actually turn up on the day.

Before you start

You need these two tools. Everything else in this tutorial is built inside them.

  • GoHighLevel

Hosts the registration page, the form and the reminder emails.

    Try GoHighLevel
  • Zoom

    Runs the live webinar itself.

  1. 1

    Create the funnel

Placeholder step. Describe where to click to start a new funnel, what to name it, and which template (if any) to begin from.

Keep each step to one clear action so readers can follow along with the app open in another tab.

  2. 2

    Build the registration form

Placeholder step. First name and email is usually enough for a free webinar, and every extra field tends to lower sign-ups.

  3. 3

    Add the thank-you page

Placeholder step. Confirm the date and time, add a calendar link, and tell people what to do next.

    Set up the reminder emails

Placeholder step. A common pattern is a confirmation straight away, a reminder the day before, and a final one an hour before the start.
